A Korean lash lift lasts around six to eight weeks, and how you treat your lashes in the first day or two makes a real difference to that. The rule is simple: keep them dry and untouched for 24 hours, then go back to normal. Here is the full aftercare so you get every week out of your lift.

The first 24 hours

This is the only strict part. While the lifting solution finishes setting, water and steam can drop the curl, so for the first day:

Keep the lashes dry. No swimming, no long hot showers, no facials or steam rooms.
Do not rub, touch or pick at them.
Skip mascara and eye makeup.
Try to sleep on your back if you can, so the shape is not pressed flat overnight.

After the first day

Once the 24 hours are up, there is very little to think about. There is no glue to protect, so you can cleanse, swim and wear mascara as normal. A couple of small habits help the lift hold its shape for longer:

Brush the lashes gently with a clean spoolie each morning to keep them sitting neatly.
Be gentle with oil-based cleansers and makeup removers directly on the lashes, as heavy oils can soften the curl over time.
Avoid waterproof mascara, since removing it means more rubbing than the lashes need.

Your natural lashes do the work here, so looking after them pays off. A lash serum or even a little nourishing oil on the lash line a few nights a week keeps them conditioned. As your lashes grow out, the lifted section moves up and the new growth at the base sits straight, so the curl looks less even. That is the sign to rebook, usually around the six to eight week mark. If you added a tint, you may notice the colour softening a little sooner than the curl drops.
