Facial Services in Docklands: Choosing the Right Facial for Your Skin

A facial is a professional treatment that cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates your skin more deeply than you can at home, tailored to what your skin needs on the day. If you are looking for a facial service in Docklands, this guide explains what is involved, the difference between our 30 and 60 minute options, and how to pick the right one.

At Rritual Beauty a 30 minute facial starts from $45 and a 60 minute facial from $65. We are inside Spencer Outlet Centre at Shop T110/201 Spencer Street, open seven days.

What a facial actually includes

A facial is a sequence rather than a single step. Your therapist cleanses the skin, exfoliates to lift dead cells, treats specific concerns such as congestion or dryness, and finishes with hydration and protection. Along the way the skin is analysed so the products are matched to you, whether that is oily and breakout-prone, dry and tight, or sensitive and reactive. The result is skin that looks brighter and feels softer straight away, with longer-term benefits when you come in regularly.

30 minute or 60 minute: which to book

The 30 minute facial (from $45) is a focused reset. It covers the essentials of cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate, and it is ideal as a regular maintenance treatment or when you are short on time. The 60 minute facial (from $65) gives your therapist time to go further, with a longer treatment step, more attention to specific concerns, and usually a relaxing massage element. If it is your first facial with us, or your skin needs proper attention, the 60 minute option is the better starting point because it allows a full analysis and a more thorough treatment.

Add-ons worth knowing about

We also offer facial bleach ($20) to soften the look of fine facial hair, and full back bleach ($30). These can be added if they suit what you are after. Your therapist will only suggest an add-on if it genuinely fits your skin and your goal.

Getting the most from your facial

Come with clean skin if you can, and let your therapist know about any products you use, especially retinol or acids, and any reactions you have had before. Try not to book a first-time facial the day before a big event, since some skin purges slightly as it clears. A day or two of buffer is safer. Afterwards, keep the routine simple for 24 hours, wear sunscreen, and drink plenty of water.

How a facial fits with your other treatments

Facials sit well alongside brow and lash appointments, so many clients book them together. If you are having a facial and a brow treatment in the same visit, mention it when you book so we can plan the order, generally skin first, then brows, so nothing is disturbed.

How long do the results of a facial last?

You will see brighter, smoother skin straight away, and that glow typically lasts one to two weeks. Regular facials build on each other, which is why most people book monthly.

Are facials suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Tell your therapist your skin is sensitive and the products and pressure are adjusted to suit. A 60 minute facial gives the time needed to treat reactive skin gently.
